ABOUT

The
Yes Chef!
Podcast

Ten years ago the decision to go back to Haiti would forever change the course of my career. This quote by John F. Kennedy, “Don’t ask what your country can do for you, but instead what you can do for your country. “

I knew that going home with this mindset, I wanted to contribute and leave a legacy behind. In 2011 a year after the devastating earthquake that rocked Haiti to its core, young people especially were looking for hope and inspiration, that year I would launch Haiti’s first food and wine festival. Little did I know that this project would not only change the landscape of the culinary industry in Haiti but also my career.

Through the festival, I was not only inviting chefs from all over the world, but I would be traveling myself championing Haitian Cuisine. 10 years later I have built a network of amazing chefs and Culinary and Hospitality professionals. Fast forward to 2020 and we are now in an unprecedented pandemic and a fellow Haitian brother would inspire me to start a Podcast and not only share my story but share it with the so many friends I have made in this industry. Hopefully, I can continue to inspire through the stories that I will share with you.
